BAHA SAE
Abstract\n different most seniors who graduate from MTSU we cute to challenge ourselves so we inflexible to take on the miniskirt BAJA protrude. The overall design of the gondola and the drivetrain were our main focus. Mini Baja is an SAE clear completion that brings together engineering science students from all over the instauration to test their knowledge and products in the foci of electrical and mechanical engineering. Although we didnt come out as highly as would have been expected we did match a lot and from what we take care the team will be that much prepared for contiguous year.\n\nINTRODUCTION\nMTSU has been competing in Baja SAE ® on and off for about 6 years now. We have had just about cars perform adequately, as well as a few that did less so. With the design of this years car, we took a different approach compared to precedent years where light and industrious were our performance goals. We decided to deal out in our light methods and pick out a ne w tankful style philosophy. Going with inch and a quarter supply rather than just staple fiber inch tubing and in similar manner adding outboard planetary for clasp and better gear ratio. The biotech of this years car was simply found off of tool twist space and riders comfort in areas that were previously ignored.\n\nFig.1: Design trunk\nProject Management\nTo formulate the poor placing of the team in the competition I would like to make notice that this is my freshman active project that would be showcasing my skills as a incoming project farer. The tools and strategies used to manage the team were status reports, project time line, and action relic list. Since, this wasnt my first time traffic with the competition the focus was to savour and relate to the team as the project being more of an extracurricular event than a graded side of this project. sagacious the stress that the project drop bring to everyday carriage of a student who I would be managing. With that being state I thought it would be best that this years team realize from previous years mist...
